The line there never was!

For a few years I (via Electric Tiki) tried in vain attempts to secure a license for a line of Hanna-Barbera mini-maquettes. My admiration for these characters was only overshadowed by Warner's licensing fees. Maybe someday it will happen, but until then click the secret link to see some of the designs. Revisiting (part two)...

Ironically this is one of the more popular images on my site. Looking back I'm not sure why. It must be the subject rather the really crappy drawing. Before submitting this image to mypsptubes, I wanted to redraw it. Still not a home run, but not as horrible as the original. I'm going to be doing a few variations as well.

Here I Come....again!

These are some design concepts for the new Mighty Mouse maquette. I decided to go with this particular pose (final seen at bottom of post) partially in tribute to Andy Kaufman's brilliant routine. I also just the other poses were a bit boring. The pose was tweaked a bit for the final. I wanted a different style of base for this statue to separate it from the first, however, I still wanted the art deco feel. Almost as if it could be sculpted out of marble.
